Look's Champagne Illusion
Illusion is a magnificent 16-hand black Tennessee Walker mare bred in Oregon by Amber Applegate. She came to southern Texas as a two-year-old and spent six months learning Trick Training and Trail Training with Sue De Laurentis at Red Horse Ranch. Her repertoire of tricks, most done at Liberty, includes the Spanish Walk, Lay Down, Sit Up, Bow, Fetch the Big Ball, Rotating Front and Hind Legs 360 degrees on a small pedestal, all sorts of Platform Work and the Smile. She has also been extensively ground driven. She is five years old and still developing. She has been brought along slowly and carefully. She has huge black feet and goes barefoot or with hoof boots. She has been ridden English and Western, in a hackamore (side pull) as well as a French Link snaffle. Illusion was featured in the July 2012 issue of Trail Blazer Magazine in an article called "Starting the Young Horse Right." She will do best with a one-on-one, interactive relationship with her human. Illusion shows great potential and aptitude for endurance, agility and gaited dressage.
